Applications NOW OPEN for the 26th edition of Europe’s No.1 ranked FIFA Master course

The official application portal for the next edition of the award winning FIFA Master is now open. Named by the 2024 SportBusiness global Postgraduate rankings as Europe’s No.1 ranked course for the twelfth time, former course Patrons have included Olympic rowing Gold Medallist Emma Twigg, South African Rugby World Cup winning captain Francois Pienaar and FIFA Chief of Global Football Development, Arsène Wenger.

Transfer values of players owned: Real at the top

The 475th CIES Football Observatory Weekly Post presents the 100 clubs worldwide whose footballers under contract have the highest aggregate transfer value (including players on loan to other teams). With a squad featuring many young stars bound by long-term contracts, Real Madrid clearly leads the way with the highest aggregate transfer value ever recorded for a football club: €1.728 billion.

FIFA Master anniversary year begins with 25th edition class welcome events in the UK

Students selected from around the world to be part of the 25th anniversary edition of the FIFA Master were welcomed by representatives from CIES and the course partner universities during a special opening ceremony held in glorious English summer sunshine at De Montfort University (DMU), Leicester, on Monday 16th September.

A record breaking 110 attendees from 8 countries joined the 2024 “Latinoamérica” Study Trip which took place from 3rd to 5th September in Bogotá against the backdrop of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Colombia 2024.
