Growth and development in focus as FIFA Football Executive Programme delivered for Asia and Oceania

Aligned with FIFA’s commitment to support and develop football leaders and administrators within Member Associations (MAs), FIFA has successfully launched the second edition of Football Executive Programme (FEP) for Asian and Oceanian MAs in partnership with the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES).

Migration report: the rise continues

Issue number 95 of the CIES Football Observatory’s Monthly Report presents the migration trends observed over the last five years in 135 men’s leagues spread across 88 national associations around the world. A new record in the presence of expatriate footballers was recorded in 2024.

2024 FIFA/CIES International University Network Prize: Two former students from Venezuela visit Switzerland

Nilsa Montserrat Guzmán and Oriana Tovar Gómez took part in the 13th edition of the FIFA/CIES International Programme organised by Universidad Metropolitana (UNIMET) in Caracas and were awarded the 2024 FIFA/CIES International University Network Prize for their project entitled, “Entre lo virtual y lo presencial: Propuesta para la promoción y difusión del Poomsae competitivo del Taekwondo en Venezuela por medio de tecnologías de la información y de la comunicación (TICs)”.
