FIFA Master named best postgraduate sports management course in the world

FIFA Master ranked no. 1 in the world, SportBusiness International, June 2014

 

The strengths of the FIFA Master in the key areas of graduate employability, alumni networks, quality of teaching and international appeal has seen the programme named as the top course in the world by SportBusiness International in their 2014 rankings.

At a special awards ceremony in Lausanne, Switzerland, on Wednesday evening (7th May) CIES Director Prof. Denis Oswald received the prestigious award on behalf of the course Scientific Committee from SportBusiness International representatives and British Olympian Colin Jackson CBE. The awards evening was part of the WISE Work in Sports international convention.

Tokyo: Joint CIES and Dentsu Asian Football Management Seminar

Football management seminar on 9th May 2014, Tokyo, Japan

 

Dentsu Hall, Shiodome, Tokyo, May 9, 2014: A prestigious management seminar on ‘The future of Asian Football’ was co-hosted in Tokyo by CIES and Dentsu Inc in May. The event was organized under the aegis of the FIFA Master alumni association, with former course graduates part of the main programme of speakers. The aim of the seminar was to consider the development of football in Asian by analysing and comparing the football system seen in Europe.

Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi Launches the first FIFA/CIES Programme

1st edition of the FIFA/CIES Programme in sport management - United Arab Emirates

 

Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (PSUAD), as the academic partner of the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES), has just opened the registration process for the 1st edition of the FIFA/CIES Programme in sport management organised in the United Arab Emirates. Classes will start in September 2014. The Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) has played an essential role in implementing this project.

PSUAD, ADSC and CIES are delighted to officially launch registrations for the FIFA/CIES Programme in sport management intended not only for students from the United Arab Emirates, but also for participants from Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
