For the fifth consecutive season, the CIES Football Observatory is pleased to launch its big-5 league predictions.

Thirty-two carefully selected international postgraduates were welcomed by the CIES President Mr Bertrand Reeb, the CIES General Secretary Mr Vincent Schatzmann, the Scientific Directors from the three partner universities and the FIFA Master Alumni Association representative, during a special ceremony held at De Montfort University’s Clephan building.
The FIFA Master is organised by the Centre International d’Etude du Sport (CIES) and endorsed by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). For the past fifteen years the FIFA Master has been a training ground for future managers in the sport business.
FIBA and CIES issue third edition of International Basketball Migration Report
International Basketball Migration Report 2014
The International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) and FIBA have teamed up for the third year in a row to bring the "International Basketball Migration Report 2014" (IBMR), which provides an insight into the migratory trends of the sport.
Like the second edition (published in late 2013), the IBMR covers the basketball season, covering the period from 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2014.
Poland: registration for the first edition of the FIFA/CIES Programme
FIFA/CIES Programme first edition in Poland
Kozminski University (KU), the academic partner of the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES), launched the registration process for the first edition of the FIFA/CIES Programme in sport management in Poland.
Organised thanks to the support of PL.2012+, the entity in charge of managing the National Stadium (Stadion Narodowy), the Programme will start on 25 October.
Before reviewing the role of a modern professional football agent, perhaps we must first consider stereotypes such as the crocodile leather shoes, cigar and expensive cars often associated with the profession!
