Rio Olympic Games Final for “FIFA Master” Graduate Emma Twigg

Emma Twigg, alumni of the 15th edition of "The FIFA Master"

CIES, the representatives of the “FIFA Master” partner universities and course alumni watched with huge pride as 15th edition graduate, Emma Twigg, competed in the Final of the Women’s Single Sculls event at the Rio Olympic Games at the weekend.

Emma, who is from New Zealand and graduated from the “FIFA Master” in 2015, produced some superb performances during the Olympic Heats as she qualified for the Final held on the spectacular course located at Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas in the heart of Rio de Janeiro.

Applications open for the 10th edition of the FIFA/CIES Executive Programme in Senegal

Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD) in Dakar (Senegal), a dynamic CIES partner since 2006, has officially launched the 10th edition of the FIFA/CIES Executive Programme in Sports Management. The new course will start in October 2016.

CIES and DENTSU Co-host their Fourth Seminar in Tokyo, Japan

In June, CIES and DENTSU hosted their fourth joint seminar on the theme of Asian Sports Management at the DENTSU Hall in Tokyo. The latest event in this highly successful series had the title “A Vision and Strategy for Asia to Challenge the World” and, for the first time, considered topics beyond only football. Once again, the event attracted large numbers of delegates from a diverse range of backgrounds, including academics, consultants, government officers and university students.

Watch the "FIFA Master" Conference 2016

The International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) in Neuchâtel will this Thursday 14th July 2016 from 1 pm to 5:45 pm host the "FIFA Master" Final Projects Conference 2016. At this event, the postgraduate students of the" FIFA Master" 16th edition class will present their research projects and answer questions on their work.
