As of 1 October 2018, the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) has officially opened the application process for the 20th edition (2019-2020) of the FIFA Master.

Organised by the International Centre for Sport Studies (CIES) in partnership with De Montfort University in Leicester (England), SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan (Italy) and the University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland), the International MA in Management, Law and Humanities of Sport - the FIFA Master was created to provide management education to the world of sport.

The CIES is pleased to announce its cooperation with the FIFA and CONMEBOL in launching the first-ever edition of the Executive Football Programme, at the CONMEBOL headquarters in Asunción, Paraguay, on 17 September 2018.

MIES/NEUCHATEL, Switzerland - The International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) and FIBA have issued the seventh edition of the International Basketball Migration Report (IBMR), a seasonal insight into the migratory trends and tendencies of the sport.

Only three clubs in Europe have fielded this season players who have been in the first team squad since more than five years on average: Real Madrid (5.84 years), Barcelona (5.36) and Bayern Munich (5.26). Issue number 236 of the CIES Football Observatory Weekly Post also reveals that another Champions League participant, Viktoria Plze?, is the most stable club outside of the big-5 (4.28 years).

For over 18 years, the FIFA Master - International MA in Management, Law and Humanities of Sport course has had a long and proud association with Leicester City Football Club. During the Humanities of Sport module, which is based at De Montfort University’s International Centre for Sports History and Culture, FIFA Master students have been fortunate to be able to visit the home of the Foxes as part of their studies and to learn more about the history and tradition of the 134 year old club.
